A poem about Halloween night at McLean Hospital in Belmont, Mass., where I work. ( Lowell, Plath and Sexton were all there at one point)
Halloween Night at McLean Hospital The trees quiver with the Autumnal breeze they free a flutter of bats or crows... Who really knows? A haunting jingle of keys in the tunnels below... a skunk shows its stripes and blends with the night a white van appears and vanishes with the first hint of light.

mmm a creepy edge to this....wonder what will happen. Of course the men in whitel coats that collect me for my holiday tell me its a wonderful place.
Loved the flow of this write, interesting and easy to read....so for me thats a thumbs up.
