Enlightened thought would beam the beacon light,
and steer the eager anxious mind through strait,
ply profundity as freight, weightless weight,
with the heaps of cares carried overnight,
so to see the light when the day breaks bright;
when shining lights of lore illuminate
the way to short-cut wisdom, animate
the aims, pierce the fog and set the course right.
Electromagnetic radiation,
acts on lens and optic nerve—so we see,
but clarity—Enlightenment’s therein.
Let us gain the sages’ education:
Help to make it second nature so we
seek, outside shadows cast, their lights within.
BRILLIANT work, Halga...You have a wonderful sense on what you write and an amazing ability to maintain rhyme...
Do lead us into 'Contemplation' - wonderful!
