I am the wish-you-well Wishing Well.
I stand at the side
of the road
in a very barren
place.
I give freely, the cup of kindness
to all who thirst.
Yet, not one...
cares, to replenish me; 
Suddenly, I
am very dry.
The sweet water, meant for living,
has ceased to be.
Rust comes... poisoned dregs.
Now pours a bitter cup.
Think twice, before you, too,
greedily suck the life from your own
wish-you-well
Wishing Well.
