The Majesties of God

One morning while I strolled along the sea shore
With my mind immersed in my problems,
As I mindlessly walked the shores,
From the corner of my eyes you caught my attention
as you roared at me through the waves
immediately, my thoughts shifted from me to you;
as I gazed at your presents within the might waves,
as they crashed ever so powerfully, against the sea shore
in your presents I saw the birds swoop down bathe and get
their food, which you placed ever so gently along the shores. . .
the sun rising so peacefully from its sleep in the east
with grace and purpose it gently caress my face,
as if you were saying to me my child,
why do you worry, be at ease
can’t you recognize the majesties in me. . .
the sea yet so powerful is calm and has the power to kill;
but at the sound of my voice, I command
“PEACE BE STILL”
“My child, aren’t you much more than these?”
Understand my majesties and mercies…
But most of all my child,
“PEACE BE STILL”
