Look for the Silver Lining

So, the sun did not come out this day.

The sky is dark and moist and gray

You fear this day will bring us rain

So what is the reason for your disdain?

The rain is a vital part of living

It takes away nothing, it is intent on giving

Wonderful life to all and good health as well

The rain helps make the plants and help them grow and swell

Into wonderful green and beautiful fulfillment

Giving marvelous life to the entire environment.

Then the rays of the sun along with the rain can bring

About the beauty of the flowers about which we all love to sing.

So be not dismayed by the cool rainy days

Let not your souls be shrouded in the haze

Of the cool rainy weather for it is all part

Of the life that we live which will soon warm the heart.

Come rain or come shine, it makes little matter

They both add to the life so let us not be the sadder

To see the rainy days appear as you know they surely will and do.

For they come to water the beautiful flowers blossom and live for me and for you.
