He Said, “I Am Here.”

As I look back upon my life I remember times of sadness.

Sometimes, I think there were more of them than there were times of gladness.

One day I asked the Heavenly Father to answer a question that crossed my mind

I asked, “Dear Lord when I was in pain and sadness I searched for you but I could not find.”

I asked him, “Father why did you not come to my side when I needed you most?”

He answered my question softly through his son and the Holy Ghost.

He said, “My child.  I was standing by your side and holding you in my arm.

I protected you with my eternal love, keeping you from spiritual harm.

You may not have seen me on those sad days

But I was giving you strength in many ways.

I promised I would never leave you and a promise is never broken

I communicated with your soul although not a word was spoken.

So never question whether I am with you when you’re depressed.

I will be by your side so let not your heart be distressed.

I am,” he exclaimed to me.  “I am always with you, my son.

Through the Holy Spirit I stand beside until your life on earth is done.

Then look up, my son, look up for your redemption draweth Nye.

You will see Jesus Christ coming through the clouds that paint the bright blue sky.
