Wrong Side of the Bed

Have you ever awakened on the wrong side of the bed?

Have you ever had a day when everything just goes wrong?

Have you thought, “Oh, My God I wish I were dead?”

Or had one of those days when life is simply a sad song?

Have you ever had a day when nothing you start

Seems worthy of finishing because you can’t make it flow.

Have you ever had a day when you just don’t have the heart?

To try anything worthy of finishing at all.

I am sure that you have for my friend, so have I.

I’ve had days when things simply seem so sad and too dull.

Those are the days when our best cure is solitude.

Spend some time alone with your Lord and change you attitude.

A prayer to master in the name of Jesus Christ, his son

Will blow away the storm clouds and the sun will shine bright

So when life simply seems to be sad with no joy and no fun.

Look up and you can see him standing there in the light.

Don’t let the cares of this world drag you down

For your true riches are not in the world anyway.

So keep smiling always and do away with that frown

Simply look up to your Master and quietly pray.
