It’s a Beautiful Day
It is a beautiful day; the sky is blue with one lone cloud floating high above.
It reminds me of cotton candy, soft and sweet and easy to love.
The sun is just rising over the mountains in the east
Its warmth alerts the trees who reach for their feast.
They stretch out their limbs as if embracing the day.
Their limbs are like stretched out arms, willing to stay
And reach for the light of the Earths nearest star.
If the trees know the source of their existence on Earth
Then we also should know of our Masters worth.
Reach out your limbs and try to touch him now.
If you cannot reach him, he will surely show you how.
Pray when you awake each day and thank God for the flower
Thank him for each second he gives, nay, each minute and hour.
Or go a little further and thank God for each day, month or year.
Thank him for a lifetime, a treasure to hold dear.
Say thank-you Lord. He will hear.
Can you imaging living there?
