Have you ever wondered why God is still interested in your earthly life? What we accomplish here will be reflected when we reach Heavens shores.

That Was an Angel

I dreamed that I was walking down a road in the dark of night

When a car came speeding down the road toward me.

I had no time to step aside; it was only then that I saw the light.

I thought to myself, no way out do I see

And the light must be the essence of God.

For the car would surely strike me down

But what happened next was wonderfully odd.

I embraced my Lord for he lifted me up from the ground

And I expected to keep going toward Heavens shores.

Instead, I was returned to the road below after car had passed by.

“Why did you not take me?” I asked. “I was ready to enter through Heavens doors.

“I am not your Master,” said the one from the light.

I am one of his Angels who watch over his sheep.

I keep them safe from sins danger and might

And too watch over them always, even as they sleep.

If it had been your time to go, I would have lifted you to Heaven above

But the Master still has things for you to say and do.

He is asking that you spread his compassion and love.

God promises every thing you give will be returned unto you.

Love ye one another!

Glorious dream, Lew - glorious post! Thank you for sharing this!

I have no doubt, there are angels all about us....good, and fallen.
The LORD allows me to meet many of them...they are everywhere we are, and if one is not careful, one can turn them away..and lose their blessing.

Dear Lew, That was beautiful! I believe we do have guardian angels. My second book, Trapped On Planet Liska, is about an angel who appeared in an un usual manner to help a little girl! Yes, I strongly believe God sends them to guard and protect us. I enjoyed the read! Thank you for sharing your dream. It could well have been a message from God!

God Bless
Lena

Yes, this reminds me of the one person who survived the plane crash today-it is proof that God knows when we still have work here to do-thanks for this on the Lord's day:) Michelle
