The Healing Power of Rain

Life can seem dark, dismal and bleak

It can seem that everything brings on more pain.

At times like this you strive and seek

For healing but find only more hurt to your distain.

When you are feeling helpless and weak

Talk to God as you watch the rain.

Through Jesus Christ, he delivers us all

From all our heartaches and relieves our soul.

For just as the raindrops wash off the soil

They are like the Holy Spirit for its goal

Is to wash away our cares and help us toil

To perform the will of Our Heavenly Master.

It can bring good even in the wake of disaster.

When life hits you with horror and you have nowhere else to turn.

Trust in God and believe on his son

Never stop praying until life on earth is done.

Call on God and you soon will learn

That his everlasting love goes far beyond the sun.

He is calling to you and to me and guiding our every turn.

Let us serve him throughout this earthly life and do not fear to live

Be the best that you can be each and every day.

Do all you can and give all you can give.

If you fail, he will forgive and cast your sins away.
