The Breath of autumn

Autumn has sent relief from summers overwhelming heat.

We shut the AC off and opened the windows.  Then I calmly took a seat.

As I sipped from my cup of coffee I watched the curtains dancing in the autumn air.

They were happily flowing too and fro without a single care.

As the autumn breeze pushed past them through the window and caressed my cheek

I simply allowed myself to enjoy as I stretched my neck to peek.

I looked out past the drapes through the window at the clouds of shades of white.

They were merrily dancing in circles and ordaining the blue sky, such a wonderful sight.

I began to play the game I had played when I was just a child.

I watched as I saw the different shapes, my eyes scanned every cloud.

While I was doing this the breeze continued to blow gently through my hair.

I relished in the coolness of the wind as my eyes continued to stare.

Some clouds were moving in circles while others were floating high above.

The cool gentle autumn breeze is one more proof of God’s great love.
