In The Early Morning

There is something special about the early morning sunrise.

It marks the beginning of a brand new day as I awaken and open my eyes.

I look out my window at the rising sun ore the mountains in the west.

I liken it to the second coming of my Lord on the day I will gain my rest.

It is a constant reminder of a new life in which there will be no disappointment.

For my Heavenly Father sent his son some two thousand years ago.

He was dead but defeated death and will come again I know.

He said, “I go to prepare a place, then I will come again.

And if I go I will come again to lift you from earthly sin.

He said, “In my Fathers house are many rooms if not I would have told you so.

One of those rooms I will prepare for you and my Fathers love you will know.

The tempter may cause you doubt or lead you to go astray.

Do your best to not follow him and kneel before God and pray.

Pray a prayer like this and pray it from your heart.

Dear Lord I pray in Jesus name that you not let me depart

From the love of the one who hung on the cross to relieve me of my sin.

I sing praises to the one who walked once upon the Earth and soon will come again.

AMEN!
