Don't let life's disapointments get you down. Accept them as learning exercises and grow:

Frustration Frustration eats away at ones resolve. It can cause our confidence to dissolve. Frustration brings our mind to a halt. If creates anger and idle hours can be the result. Frustration is a destructive force It causes uneasy feelings from which we cannot divorce. Frustration feeds upon itself and grows. If we resign ourselves to it resignation grows and it shows. How do we break this evil curse? How can we cause the anguish to disperse? One way is to quietly pray. Pray for guidance throughout each day. Ask God to stand with you through frustrations charge. With his help you can overcome any problem, be it small or large. So, let not your heart sink in disappointment with no hope. If you do so, you will not have the faith you need to cope. The world will sometimes be cruel and unforgiving. You will find yourself asking why you even make an attempt at living. When things go wrong and they surely will do so. Keep your faith strong and even the hard times will help you grow. Pray to God through Jesus Christ, he son. You will meet them both face to face when your Earthly journey is done.

Sound advice, Lew. Frustration...it's another negative emotion we can do without. Sometimes counting to ten works! :) Thanks for this inspiration write.

I had a hard time doing the above notation untill I surrendered all events, happenings, relationships, trials to God. Thank you for the reminder to look and use them for the good as learning lessons to unfold a stronger, wiser, soul within me. This is very powerful and inspiring thank you.

The apostle Peter tells believers that their faith is tried and tested in the fires of trials and tribulation until is is proved precious in God's sight. Likewise, Jesus counsells us not to let our hearts be troubled. Psalm 40 has David telling us how he waited patiently for the Lord. These are tough injunctions and examples for us in our flawed bodies to abide in, but abide in them we are urged to.
I was anxious the other day on a rail platform. I grew frustrated as the number of train cancelations lengthened. Time was getting short so ran to another platform only to be faced with the same holdup - a broken down train further down the line had been the cause. I stood there frustrated not only because of this situation but I had also realised I forgot my wallet. Just as I was about to give up on reaching my appointment on time, a friend suddenly appeared out of the crowd with a big smile on his face, not at me, it is just the way he is. He saw my frustration and met my need by ensuring I got a taxi to my destination. God, through my friend, intervened and assauged my anxiety. Yes, perhaps its a case of our mortal bodies indulging the frustration while the holy spirit within us gets to work at resolving the situation. The frustration quickly evaporates - coward that it is.
