Have you Ever Seen and Angel?

Have you ever seen an Angel?  Well, neither have I.

At least, I have not seen them with human eye.

But, somehow I know they are here because they sing.

When I am feeling low they make Heavens Chimes ring.

They touch my life in such subtle ways that I cannot explain.

All of life’s heartaches cannot hush their voices as they proclaim.

They tell of God’s love and Christ’s sacrifice.

They tell how the Master delivers us from vice.

They sing of the wondrous view of the shores of heaven above.

They sing of undying and never ending love.

I know they are near although my eye cannot see.

I know that they work through my life.  Their charge is the welfare of me.

Not of my body for it will soon be gone but of my soul for it will live on.

When my spirit leaves my body and journey’s above

I will meet them and thank them as they lift me in love.

I will fly away to join my Master and sup with his son

My Earthly adventure will have been finished and done

The next life will be for eternity with no end but everlasting glory

Only praises and songs of gladness will be heard and that is my story.

Have you ever seen an Angel?  I have although not with human eye.

I have seen them with my heart and my soul and they are coming in the sky.
