A Smile

Have you ever noticed the power of a smile?

It is a contagious thing and never goes out of style.

A simple smile says, “Excuse me,” or it may say, “I like you.”

It may say lots of things but there is one thing that is true .

It will almost always bring a smile to the face the person receiving it.

And if it radiates friendship and a certain amount of wit

It can cause a person to say hello when, otherwise they would never speak.

It generates friendship which so many people seek.

And the funny part and also, what makes it sweet

Is the fact that the other person will most likely pass it on to the next person they meet.

So if you start the chain you never know just how many people you have touched.

You see, my friend you cannot smile too much.

Your smile will reflect on the others persons’ face

And they will pass it on to another who will pass on again and thus you start the race

With a single smile and a jolly hello and you have planted seeds of friendship everywhere you go.

Where does this chain of smiles end?  You will never know

But what you do know is the fact that once it starts growing.

You may touch hundreds of lives without even knowing.

Now, ask yourself.  Is this not a good thing?

Does it not create as much joy as the hymns we sing?

Smile and the whole world smile with you.

It is a human relation tool that is tried and true .
