Have you ever wondered how we got to where we are today? We should be happy. Most of us have homes, cars, expensive clothes and we eat, perhaps too well. All this does not bring happiness. Have you searched for it? Have you searched in the right places?

What’s Funny about Life? Do you know what is funny about life? People…. Do you know what causes most strife? People…. Why is it that even the things that should give us a peaceful feeling Will too, often cause our minds to go reeling? Why can we never simply enjoy God’s eternal love? Why is it so that negativism is something we cannot rise above? We often find ourselves dwelling on problems while blinded of the beauty all around us. We worry and stew and throw a big fuss. We see only darkness when we should see the light. We see ourselves as helpless when we should call on God’s might. But, after all, we only people and as such we fail many times. That is why there are wars and stealing and all sorts of crimes. Like Adam and Even as soon as God said to us "don’t." The temptation to see why is too great. We should listen to God but we won’t. Until something happens to wake us from our state of mind And we finally search for the Lord for total truth to find. It seems we do everything the hard way here on Earth. It starts from the very moment and day of our birth. We are people! God forgives us!

Do you remember when God created man, Lew? Man was perfect! Then man sinned...hence the fall of man...caused God to regret creating man...ever since, man continues to slide...not realizing that there is only one who could stop them. Genesis Chapter 3 spells out man's evil heart! Were it not for the Holy Spirit, man will always chose to be evil. I don't know if this makes much sense...Anyway, you have written a stirring piece.
