Happiness!

I asked my Lord a question that had been heavy on my mind.

For though I searched all Earthly sources the answer I could not find.

How can I obtain happiness I asked him with all my heart?

This is the answer which My Heavenly Father did impart.

If you want to be truly happy with relieve the burdens of your mind

You must first search for the word and the happiness you will find.

“What means this?” I asked him for I did not know what he was telling me.

His answer was simple.  “When you find it you will see.”

“How do I find the word?”  I asked for I was now perplexed and confused.

“Search the scriptures and search your heart,” he said.  I asked for more but he refused.

So I went about this search but I knew not what I looked for.

Then I had a revelation which freed my mind and spirit.

The word was always with me though I could never hear it.

The word which I was looking for was not written, spoken or sung.

The word of God is Jesus Christ and as I said his name I noticed the bells had rung.

He is my first and last and all things in between.

He is the love of the father and of Heaven which is yet to be seen.

True happiness will not let disappointment dim its warm and brilliant glow.

For even in disappointment we learn and reach for our Lord and grow.

So put your happy face, my friend and never dwell in sorrow.

For whatever you are dealing with today will build toward a better tomorrow.
