Why Are You Sad?

Why are you sad, my little one?

Why are there tears in your eyes?

Why does your heart carry such a horrible burden?

Your sadness is wasted, but true love is wise.

Love me as your savior and your neighbor as your brother.

Know my love binds you together, a love like no other.

Why do you insist on bringing heartbreak into your life?

What is accomplished by living your life in spiritual strife?

I can relieve the sadness and replace it with a greater love.

I can give comfort to you which is my gift from above.

Jesus hung on that cross for each one who turned to him.

He paid a price for your sins and brought brightness that will never dim.

Do not shield your eyes from it but bask in its luster.

Praise the Lord thy God with all the spiritual energy you can muster.

Gods love is forever so why do you not hold fast?

When your earthly life is over, eternity will still last.

Turn to Jesus Christ and you will know God!
