I thought I would experiment a little as I wrote this piece. I wanted to say it quickly and be absolute about my faith. We often do not allow ourselves the most wonderful comforts which are gifts from God. Let us look to him for peace of mind.

It is easy to simply allow oneself to exist
But it takes faith to live life to its fullest and persist.

It is easy to reason why I cannot try
But with faith I can reach up and touch the sky.

It is simple to sit and resent the blessings shared by others.
But with true Christian love we can share it with sisters and brothers.

How many times have we found ourselves crying?
We say that life is unfair as we sit there sighing.

When God’s voice calls us do we simply not hear?
In our deafness do we not acknowledge his love so dear?

Why do we punish ourselves as we do?
Why do we not allow ourselves to be true ?

True to ourselves and true to our Lord.
True to his calling, living true to his word.

We can have happiness that money cannot buy.
We must search for it in our hearts and it will not die.

Listen to the melody of the voice of our Lord and our Master.
The beauty we will hear is not cancelled out by any disaster.

For, no matter what life on this Earth may hold in store.
It will mean nothing when we enter through Heavens Golden door.

Trust in God and know you are not alone, ever.
Trust in God and in his love which will stay with you forever.
