I cannot find words to adequately praise God for his love overcomes all the cares of this world. I feel sorry for those who do not have this wonderful joy. Knowing his love which was given to one who truly never earned it is a greater joy than I can find words to express.

Poem Artwork

Oh how my soul cries out with joy and love so dear.
It rejoices in the sound of Angels singing which I can hear.

It is not with physical ear that I hear the Angels voices.
It is in spirit that I hear the sound of their praises as each Angel rejoices.

Oh how my soul cries out with love and glee.
It rejoices for the image of God is mine to see.

I did not see God with mortal eye it is blind to his vision.
I see with my soul the love of Jesus Christ who made my salvation his mission.

Oh how my soul cries out with joy and love so real.
It cries out because of the joy of God’s presence which I feel.

My mortal body knows not this wonderful sensation.
The feeling is a gift from the spirit of loving devotion.

Oh how my soul cries with joy and thanksgiving.
It is thankful for the gift given by God’s son who lived and is still living.

He left his thrown and came down from Heaven to show us the way.
It was the greatest love ever shown and it lives on today.

Oh how my soul cries out in humble confession.
It praises the one who died for our transgressions.

He did not have to hang there crying out on that cross.
However had he not, it would have been our greatest loss.

That is why my soul cries out in humility and love.
For the gift from God was the life of his son, Jesus Christ, the Dove.

Amen to that, Lew. This is what Paul had to say: "I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting." (1 Timothy 2:8) That's how I envision you sometimes: lifting up holy hands in prayer and worship. :)

God Bless...
Lena
