There is a wonderful joy that many do not attempt to draw from. The love of God is like living water. It soothes the soul and gives us strength but he doesn’t simply hand it our. He waits until we ask to drink.
My life on Earth may not be perfect in every way.
I have learned to accept each day… come what may.
Whatever each day brings my way is surely meant to be.
What my tomorrow may send my way I am not meant to see.
I accept each day as a wonderful challenge indeed.
I know that I am not the only one in need.
My aches, pains, disappointments and sorrow…
Will not cause me to dread the coming of tomorrow.
I say this from the heart… because I am touched by the hand of god.
When life seems empty, dark and sad I know the Lord will raise me up in delight.
He will stand me on a pinnacle of his pure sweet light.
I take the fate that life has dealt me because his love will rejuvenate me.
I will dwell on the love, beauty and wonders I see.
I say this from the heart… because I am touched by the hand of God.
So when you life seems to overpower you and you feel distress.
Remember God has an email address.
You can lay all your burdens upon his strong shoulders.
If we accept his strength we can all be his soldiers.
We will not carry guns, for we will have no need.
We will simply follow where ever his love may lead
I say this from the heart… because I am touched by the hand of God.
Tears burst to my eyes as I read this! We are truly blessed and you wrote it simply, honestly, heart-felt, touching my very soul. Don't ever stop sharing you love for Christ. Thank YOU so much; I did need this today.

Lew, this write was touching. We are blessed to be touch by God. It is obvious in this piece of your work that you are a blessed one. For God has given you a gift. Beautiful piece of work.
What an inspiring poem...touched by the hand of God! He has touched me so many times and led me out of the pits of hell into the light...believe, I believe in Him. He comforts me in my hour of need and never leaves me for a second. I believe, yes I believe!
That is ever so sweet, Lew, so you, so from a gently, faithful heart. To drink of the living water, who can refuse? I sure needed it when I was ill...when all seemed loss. I still remember that period of my life, it brings tears to my eyes. Yes, like you, I was touched by the Hand of God. I rested comfortably in His arms as miraculous healing took place. Thank you for this write, Lew. It means a lot to me.
Beautiful write, for I love to feel His good touch! And yes, you are so right, He does wait for us to ask for that drink of living water!
