You are the salt of the earth… do not lose your saltiness.

If you do you can not be made salty again and will be spiritually useless.

You are the light of the world… a city on a hill.

You are a city which cannot be hidden for you must do Gods holy will.

You are the light of the world… a lamp cannot be hidden under a bowl.

You therefore must live your life in truth that comes honestly from the soul.

Just like the city on the hill you stand in holy delight.

As a lamp you are put on a stand to give everyone holy light.

“Therefore,” said Jesus.  “Let your light shine before men.”

Avoid temptation and do not succumb to sin.

Jesus said he did not come to abolish the law.

He came to fulfill it… bringing salvation to us all.
