If I could only relive my life there are mistakes I would not make.

I would spend more time loving others and give more than I take.

If I could erase the times where alas I went astray

I would readily change those times and cast them all away.

My past is past and I cannot change it but praise God I do not have to.

I start my life with each day I awaken and let him guide the things I do.

I need not mourn over past mistakes for Christ has washed them away.

Now I live my life for him for he had made me new today.

If I could seems rather wasteful for it robs my soul and weakens my heart.

My new motto is given by God and it gives me a brand new start.

If I can I will be the best I can and I will praise my Lord on high.

I will live and love and forgive and encourage my brother for it is God upon whom I rely.

He paid the price for every mistake I have made and wiped away my loss.

He lived to show the world true love from his birth and on the cross.

Once he had defeated death he showed himself once more to man.

He did this so we would have the courage to be the best we can.

Jesus said, “My grace is sufficient.”
