Jesus once told his disciples, “I have food that you know nothing about.

They knew not what he meant for they were full of doubt.

Did someone bring him something to eat?

Did someone bring fruit or bread or meat?

“My food,” said Jesus is to finish the work of my Lord.”

He meant he must reap the harvest of souls by spreading the word.

The saying is true , “one sows another reaps.”

“My food is to sow, yours is to reap.  The harvest is bountiful and deep.”

God sent Jesus to live and to die for the salvation of the lost.

His death on the cross was our eternal life at his cost.

So remember that God gives us spiritual food we did not earn.

We must only follow the Son and live and learn.

Life is not something we could gain on our own.

Eternal life is a gift we find through Jesus alone.
