Even during times when my faith doth wane and my voice is soft and weak

He hears my cries and reaches forth his arms and asks me what I seek.

Even when my anger is controlling what I do and say

His love forgives and he gently leads me back on the right way.

Even when I let my passions rule and do not follow his loving lead

He sends Angels to guide me from my selfish ways and back to the Lord I need.

Even when I prove myself to be a sinner and weak in spirit

My Heavenly father calls to me with a voice that echoes so I hear it.

He is love, patience and my guiding light through a world that goes astray.

He calls to me, “come home, my child for you need my light today.

When I speak in anger to a brother or sister he hears that too.

He quietly urges me to speak not in passion and shows me what to do.

His fury is enough to scare me and to make me learn to fear

But his love is soft and comforting and something that I hold dear.

Serve the Lord for he is our maker and truly is our Father in Heaven above.

If we will but listen to him he will teach us how to love.
