It will eat at your heart and cause you great pain

This pain comes when you look upon another with great disdain.

It is insidious and though it seems to be unfeeling

It will tear at your soul and send your mind reeling.

It is a cancer; a four letter word which will demoralize and berate.

It is a horrible sickness that we know as hate.

The reason may be the color of a person’s skin; his politics or his religion.

You may choose to disagree with him but to allow yourself to hate is a bad decision.

One thing I have learned about hatred is a true fact which I share with your now.

It is more damaging to your soul than the person you chose to hate somehow.

Hatred is like a heavy burden which you carry and keeps you from achieving a higher life.

It is like a ball and chain which will cause you to sink under its weight and strife.

It is better to love, forgive and look for the best in your sister and brother.

If you do this you have joined with your maker to achieve happiness like no other.
