He was a multimillionaire…this oil tycoon.
Little did he know his soul would be required of him soon.
There is no amount of money that can buy off the Angel of Death’s coming.
Man can not see his face or hear that it is the death march he is humming.
“Lord I have much money,” the man cried out loud to the master.
The father answered, “Yet, with all your wealth, your life has been a disaster.
You hoarded your millions and ignored the cries of the poor.
Now your money is useless for it cannot pass Heavens door.
The moral of this story is do good when you can.
Give to the poor and befriend anyone in need… the mark of a righteous man.
Your money can pile up… saved for a brighter tomorrow
But if your soul is required tonight you will be met with only sorrow.
Love the Lord your God with all your heart… soul and mind.
Love your neighbor as yourself and then true riches you will find.
Blessings,
Joyce Bowling
