Whispering Breeze

I saw another beautiful sight yesterday evening. The spring breeze began to pick up and gently rotate around a tree caused the leaves to move too and fro like the waves of the sea. The green leaves following the breezes kind massage seemed to be asking for more. I have no words to fully describe just how beautiful this sight was but I feel blessed by God to have seen it.

Poem Artwork

The whispering breeze encourages me to walk.

It is a quiet, cool whisper… not even a talk.

Though it is not talking it causes me to sing out.

The song I sing is one that wonders what the breeze talks about.

The whispering breeze touches my cheek

It gives me comfort and causes me to speak.

I speak of forgiveness when needed and kindness and love.

Though the breeze has no words I know its statements are sweet like the song of a dove.

The whispering breeze encourages me to join in on its kindness.

It gives me the sight of God, thus I overcome spiritual blindness.

I suddenly know what the spring breeze is… I now think I hear it.

It is sent from the Father through his Son and the Holy Spirit.

The whispering breeze, though it whispers in near silence.

It is urging mankind to love and to shun hate, greed and violence.

You bet I am, Lew. Though we cannot see the breeze, it certain has a way of making itself felt. Oh yes, if you listen to the leaves, you'll hear them sing when the breeze gently kisses them in passing. This is beautiful, Lew. How sweet voice is hear with each word. :)

God Bless
