If I get out of bed today

I may find only trouble and dismay.

If I do not get up today

My life may simply fade away.

If I get in my car and drive somewhere

I may end up almost anywhere.

If I simply stay and ask what if  I die?

I may find that life simply passes by.

If I live life with all my heart

I may find that I was able to love impart.

If I try I may only find I fail.

I may feel like I only chase my tail.

I cannot allow myself to quit.

If I do this I may find that only sit

And ask myself what if I had?

If I had tried I may have been glad.

Glad that I had not asked so much and only tried to live.

For by doing this I find people to love and love tthat I might give.
