I have recently been in the hospital for tests. I would like to thank all my friends here who have sent your prayers with me. The truth be told my heart is getting weaker but do not despair for God will see me through. I have been reminded that miracles are not always flashes of lightning or claps of thunder. They are most often small and may even be unnoticed. That is what inspired the following poem.

Poem Artwork

They are not always lightning flashes or thunder rolling across the sky.

Miracles sometimes hide themselves and work unseen by human eye.

God can show his majesty with his mighty shout.

The problem here, dear friend is this is not what faith is all about.

Every breath I take is a miracle… Gods own holy breath.

Each time we inhale we are saved from the bonds of death.

Every sense in our body… to see, hear, smell or feel.

Each time we say grace before eating our meal.

All of life is through the immaculate breath of our creator

For without his love all of life would not matter.

So consider your life as a wonderful gift from the one who gave it with love.

Consider your rebirth a gift for his Son who came to live and die so we could rise above.

Consider that faith is not asking and expecting something in return

Faith is knowing that Gods will is something we must learn.

My life on earth has created many memories to numerous to measure

But our faith must go beyond the Earthly things that we all love and treasure.

It is important to know that whatever tomorrow and the days in the future may bring

God will stand with us and hold us in his arms as his praises we will sing.

You are right my friend, and often our healing comes when we least likely expect it. Just last week my mom gave me great news! After suffering for some time with her vision, undergoing tests, and planning surgery for July. She went for one final test, and was told that there was nothing wrong with her eyes. The doctor couldn't explain it...but my mom could. He's still in business! For our vision, bones, lungs, hearts, and for whatever we need! He is an on time God, we will just have to start thanking Him in advance for your healing, for faith is a substance unseen! God Bless my friend!
Blessings,
Joyce B.

God bless you, Lew, for your courage and absolute faith and belief in Him. Your words convey this love. I add my prayers to the many others asking our precious Father God to strengthen the muscles of your heart as only He can do. Rest in His presence, my friend, and know that you're in safe hands. Come to think of it, you already know this. I'm only confirming. :)

Peace and love
Lena
