Another Day

Oh happy day! This just sort of rang through my mind while I was sitting in front of my computer. One might say it was the voice of God. Love God and believe in his son but never let your salvation be dependant upon things that you have done. You could never have done them without his love and strength. Be modest but constantly reassess yourself to make sure it is real.

Poem Artwork

Another day… another dollar; that was the story of my life.

I was making many more dollars but paid the price in stress and strife.

I am not sure on what date I finally understood

That money can be both bad and good.

Today as I look back upon my years

I remember the happiness but also the tears.

Self centered and always thinking of only me

I did not realize how rich I could be.

There are no dollar signs or high wages or commissions

For now I know true love and sharing should be all our missions.

God will slap us in the face sometimes to get our attention.

He will also hold us in strong arms preparing us for our ascension.

His love is not always gentle for that can not be.

Tough love and great forgiveness is what saves me.

When you feel yourself applauding yourself for deeds done well

Keep in mind that honorable intentions can pave a road to Hell.

So serve the Lord with your heart, soul and mind.

Focus on his love if it is eternal love you wish to find.

What a wise write my friend, I heard a person once refer to taking a look at self, was like spring cleaning...we should stop occasionally and make sure that theirs nothing in our hearts that shouldn't be there much like our closets...your write has much truth, honesty, and wisdom within...a profound and inspiring write my friend!

Another beautiful piece from the heart, Lew. Whatever we do, we must do the the honor and glory of God...that way we will not be puffed up or stressed out. Great message. Thank you, my friend.

God Bless
Lena

Karma Bank to Following By Listening by Chiemi

These song lyrics and art are tales, tides and twinkling lights - tunes telling stories of warmth and sun, city and sand, paths that lead, and the coins we can keep in the Karma Bank. Spirit's been bypassed for sorrow, dreaming of a better tomorrow .
