Why do we insist on making God in the image of man? This is a good question.

God made us in his image. I proclaim this does not mean flesh and blood but in spirit. We are created by the hand of God. God has huge powerful hands which we cannot imagine. He has strong arms which keep us safe and he has knowledge which we only have in part.

    My children do not insist on creating me in the image of man.

By doing so you deprive yourself of the ever achieving the ability to understand.

 

I was not created for I am the creator of all... everything on the Earth.

The stars, sun and moon and everything created from the dirt.

 

I created the forces of the universe and the air that you breathe each day.

If you would understand my true being your will kneel down and pray.

 

You should know, my son that I am the force of life and sustain all those living.

You are my creation and I beseech you to be loving, caring and giving.

 

Do not try to put me into perspective which is easy to understand.

Know that to know me better your mind, soul and spirit must expand.

 

You cannot see me for my light is much too bright.

If I allowed you to look you would truly lose your sight.

 

So satisfy your heart to simply know of my ever present love.

One day when your have spiritual eyes I will lift you up above.

 

Then you and me, my son will sit down and you will see

That my light shines brightly for eternity.
