(I did not try to make this rhyme. I simply wanted to make a point)
If our Lord and Savior were to write us a letter today it would be something like this. Keep in mind that if others do not agree with everything you believe this is not a reason to cast dispersions. It is a chance to show Christ’s true love.
I walk with sadness today because those I have helped do not understand that my love was given freely and without any requirements on their part other than to pass that love on to someone in need.
I cry out in anguish because those who have received my loving kindness have failed to realize that this love cannot not be something you simply hold onto but must be freely given away again.
I have tried to show the world a better way but I knew from the beginning that they would not understand. But I died on the cross for their sins for the sake of the few who could look past their own selfish desires and reach for a better life.
I cried out on that cross during a time when I had never felt so alone. My Heavenly father had turned his back.I know why he did this. It was as painful for him as it was for me.
Now I challenge you one and all… “If any man would be saved, let him take up his cross and follow in my footsteps. The world was doomed to turn aside from me and my Father.
Even the very believers would separate themselves from one another rather than realize that my love is long suffering and my forgiveness is great.Theirs should be just as long suffering and just as great.
For I tell you my brothers, if you would be a follower you must deny yourself and most importantly love thy neighbor as thyself.I know this is not an easy task for I have been through it.
This sure tugs at the heart, Lew, all the way through. I felt as though Jesus really had written it, and of course, He did, through your pen.
The end is especially powerful--"I know this is not an easy task, for I have been through it."
I am willing.
To listen to our Lord...to hear Him speak...to feel His words coating my soul...
"I walk with Sadness", saddens me to think, that after all He has done for us...Must it come to this...
Him pleading to protect us from everlasting Hell?
NO...I'm willing now, and I will gather my line in heaven, the one's who I planted seeds with and walk toward the gates as one, among many followers to ultimate peace...with Him. Amen.
Enjoyed this beautiful write!

These song lyrics and art are tales, tides and twinkling lights - tunes telling stories of warmth and sun, city and sand, paths that lead, and the coins we can keep in the Karma Bank. Spirit's been bypassed for sorrow, dreaming of a better tomorrow .
The end is especially powerful--"I know this is not an easy task, for I have been through it."
I am willing.
God bless you for representing His Son,
Connie
Did He not say every thing you did and more?
Pick up your Cross and follow ME!
