He was a cowboy in the old west in the days of yesteryear.
He worked for a better life for the one he held dear.
Today he had nobody to love for she was gone.
Now he simply rode the range and he rode alone.
She did not run off with another love
For she simply was called to be with God above.
He was left behind for a purpose of this he was sure.
His aching heart suffered pain which he must endure.
He had traded in his gun when he said his final farewell.
To the one person on Earth who knew him well.
Now he carried a Bible in his saddlebags as he rode.
He learned to pray to God to lighten his load.
In doing this he found a joy which he had never before known.
He knew now that through the Holy Spirit he and his love could commune.
This only increased his faith and drove him to share
To anyone he came across anywhere and everywhere.
He grew in faith and learned that true love had no limits but continues on.
He could hear the voice of his love and that of God telling him her love is not gone.
She awaits this cowboy, coaching him toward Heavens abode.
Her eternal love only serves to lighten his load.
Love is a wonderful cure for what ails the human soul.
Now this cowboy knew that sharing it with others had become his role.
“Love one another,” he proclaims with all his might.
For the love of our Master is our greatest source of delight.
(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
