Its kiss tells a story

We just got back from a great trip to the ocean. The smell of the salty air, the warm sunshine and the songs that were ringing through the air along with the rhythm of the waves dancing with the sand on the beach all were a part of what was a time of relaxation and reflection also served to rejuvenate my writing.

Poem Artwork

The sea has always been a mystery to man.

There are stories of pirates and adventure in this place beyond land.

Each time a wave comes to kiss the sand on the beach

It beckons us to expand our minds to contemplate its reach.

Each kiss of a wave of the never resting sea

Has a story to share with you and with me.

To me it tells of the cycle of life and of those come before.

It moves sometimes fast as each wave that kisses the shore.

Consider each wave as a symbol one of the lives which have touched our lives.

They are as casual friends when they are gone their memory arrives.

They move into our lives as the waves of the sea

Although we cherish them while they stay we know it will not be eternity.

The wave kisses the beach and it longs for more.

The sand cries out as each wave retreats from the shore.

Consider this a lesson in the cycle of life and its worth.

There is no eternity on the face of this Earth.

For just as the waves that roll in from the ocean taking time to kiss the land.

We must live every day to its fullest; we must rejoice as we stand.

We must proclaim to our creator our never ending praise.

He gave us the sound of the sea and gives us a chance to see him in so many ways.

Let not the comforting sound of the waves of the sea be unheard.

And take time to reflect upon the beauty of the song of a bird.

All of life has something of comfort to offer if you take time to see

Just as every wave declares a story told to us by the sea.

This is so appropriate for my day today...I received a phone call from a long lost girlfriend. It's been thirteen years since I talked with her. We are planning a visit this week.

Consider each wave as a symbol one of the lives which have touched our lives.

Soothing thoughts here...I could tell you were at peace~
So happy to hear you had a wonderful vacation!
Love and Peace~

Karma Bank to Following By Listening by Chiemi

These song lyrics and art are tales, tides and twinkling lights - tunes telling stories of warmth and sun, city and sand, paths that lead, and the coins we can keep in the Karma Bank. Spirit's been bypassed for sorrow, dreaming of a better tomorrow .
