One foot in front of the other till the race has been run.
It matters not if I place first or second, I still know I have won.
For if I did not run the race I would have lost the race by default.
If I did not run the race what self confidence would I have bought?
So I ran the race and took comfort in the fact that I had done so.
Around every curve I ran and up each hill and down I go.
I never had the promise that I would be the one to come in first place
But I do know the exhilaration of knowing I had truly run the race.
Keep this poem in mind when you feel like giving up on life.
Life is like a race with stress and sweat and sometimes unbearable strife.
If you have the courage to run this race you will find at the finish line
A better life with no stress and strife but a wonderful life sublime.
Love & Light always and in all ways,

"6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.

7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

i dont know... i think it shows just how different heaven is run than earth.
i appreicate that you do not paint this race as easy... youve got the hills and the struggles and the tiredness which is important because all of these things happen in the race [not to mention the distractions of the enemy who is trying to get us off course]
keep up the good work =)
