It burns and burns but I only rejoice in the fire.

My heart is full of the wonder of desire.

Love has struck and its hold is strong and sure.

The look in your eye is one that I adore.

This was the way I felt when we first met that night

And now that a lifetime has passed I still look upon you with wondrous delight.

Your smile can brighten my spirit with a silent smile that is so sweet and full of love.

Your voice is sweet and soothing like songs from Angels above.

They say young love fades away and will soon be no more

But I know it simply grows as maturity comes with more love in store.

We have had our ups and our downs we have children to hold in our arms carefully.

We have watched them grow, laugh, cry and play happily.

Now we have not only the future to look forward too, whatever it brings

We have wonderful memories of a life gone by which is why my heart sings.
