I climbed to the top of the mountain simply because it was there.
From the top I saw the sun setting and was captivated to simply stare.
I had been wondering to myself as I climbed that mountain why I felt I needed to see the top.
The trail was rough a steep and my hands knees were sore and many times I wanted to stop.
Now as I stood atop the mountain gazing at the beautiful show put on by the setting sun
I knew why I had to climb it; why I couldn’t stop until I had won.
The kaleidoscope of reds, yellow and gold mixed in with other wonderful colors in a sky of blue
Was cause for me to start down the other side and keep moving toward the sun through the next valley and once I walked through
I simply would climb the next mountain and the next as life brought me upon them.
This is like reaching for God, trusting in Jesus; touch the hem
The hem of what you ask? I tell you; it’s tried true .
It is the healing power of his glorious white robe that comforts me and if you let it; will comfort you.
If we trust in God and live for Jesus his healing power is always with you and with me.
If we look with eyes wide open his glory we surely will see.
From the top I saw the sun setting and was captivated to simply stare.
Marvelous thoughts, my friend.
