I stand in the field as the wind blows strong against my body but I will not shed a tear.
I stand in the sun which shines upon me hot but I will withstand it’s heat and finish my work here.
I watch the darkness as it drowns out light but I know the light will shine again.
My courage is not my own but it is a wonderful gift from God to this man.
I stand before him in trembling fear but the fear is that of respect and awe.
I kneel down before him and him alone because he loves me though I am small.
God has said to me, “Go forth and share my news with anyone who believes.
For if he truly believes in me I will stand beside him even when he shall greave.
I will soothe his sores and calm his heart and give him eternal peace from within.
I will hold him up and give him strength and in my house he will dwell within.
Love,
Connie
