He promised no rose garden

Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.: For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.

God did not promise a heavenly life on earth. He loved and still loves us for he sees in each of us great worth. He told the Apostle Paul that he should believe in Grace Though he knew the hardships we would be asked to face. God comforts us in all our tribulation so we can comfort others. Jesus abounds in us and us in him which is why we are all sisters and brothers. The hardships we face on this earth are nothing compared to the glory which lies ahead. Upon each of us was the sentence of death but we now have faith for God can raise the dead. Let us all join in prayer to bolster our faith in the almighty God who will deliver us from deaths door. Let us all rejoice in the Lord and focus our eyes on Jesus for his true love shall endure.

An uplifting write my friend, enjoyed this very much we all need to be reminded occasionally and uplifted through inspiring words such as yours...you are right we are never alone, our trials make us stronger, and give us wisdom for what's ahead as well as words of wisdom to share with others whom may be suffering or enduring similar trials. So true, Lew! We must focus on Him in the fiercest trials, and Yes! His love endures and He will comfort us in all our tribulation. This is such a needed message for Christians today. God bless you for posting such an enabling poem.
