Lord Have Mercy

“Lord, have mercy,” she would exclaim whenever things did not go her way.

She gave no thought to what it meant for it was simply something to say.

She should have considered the wonderful gift of Gods’ boundless love.

It’s more than just sympathy, it is forgiveness and amnesty.

It is Gods’ gift to each of us, a cleansing and infinite love, and an offer of clemency.

So when’re you hear this expression know that it is more than an exclamation.

Gods’ love and forgiveness gives our soul its eternal purification.

Lord have Mercy… Christ have Mercy… Lord have Mercy.
