Life can sometimes be unfair and seem to treat you cruel
Those times can leave you down and feeling much like a fool
Everywhere you look you seem to see nothing but despair
Though there are those who are concerned you know not that they care
Your world becomes one of troubles and murky gloominess
All you feel is heartbreak and a horrible dejection
Even when the sun shines and skies are blue you see only hopelessness
There seems there is no room for happiness or sweet exhilaration
That is the time to fall down on you knees and pray
Call out to God through Jesus Christ and give vent to your unhappiness
Say, “father be merciful to me a child who needs your reassurance
Please rebuild my heart with your sweet love and forgiveness
Give me a reason to smile again with your love, a sweet deliverance”
He will hear your call and heed your cry and you will be reborn
His love is the source of peace of mind and true complete gratification
Once you have accepted this there will be no reason to feel forlorn
