The following was sent to me by, "Motivation in a Moment. It triggered the following poem..
"By the choices we make, by the attitudes we exhibit, we are influencing lives every day in positive or negative ways...our family, our peers, our friends, and even strangers we've never met before and will never meet again. So when you brush your teeth every morning, look in the mirror and ask yourself...'Are there things I'd like to change?'"riggered the next poem

Poem Artwork

I woke up this morning, got dressed, brushed my teeth and combed my hair

Something I saw in the mirror caused me to stand there and stair

Was it the way I brushed my teeth or the way I combed my hair?

After careful consideration I concluded I really didn’t care

I found myself thinking, “Will I meet someone new today?

Will I leave a happy memory with that person?  This I couldn’t say

What kind of impact would I leave with the person I met today?

If tomorrow someone ask them, “Was he a nice guy?” what would they say?

While I looked into the mirror another thought crossed my mind this day

What kind of impact will I leave on my family and friends today?

Would I leave them feeling good or bad?  This I really couldn’t say

I pray to God that whether life be pleasant or not this day

If someone asks my friends if I was a heartening person, what would they say?

It is my prayer that ere they notice or not that I will be an encouraging one this day

I hope many look in the mirror today, and think your thoughts.

One day at a time, positive actions add up a whole lot faster than negative ones and they're a whole lot more fun. Patrick

Karma Bank to Following By Listening by Chiemi

These song lyrics and art are tales, tides and twinkling lights - tunes telling stories of warmth and sun, city and sand, paths that lead, and the coins we can keep in the Karma Bank. Spirit's been bypassed for sorrow, dreaming of a better tomorrow .
