When the days of your life have all been lived

Be the outcome instructive or destructive

If you be honest as you look back on your days on Earth

Compiling the things you’ve done and ascertaining their worth

You will inevitably find it was all about attitude

If you learned from your failures they were not truly a defeat

For you learned from the mistake, something you would not repeat

When considering the value of your life you will find it is not longevity that makes the difference

It is courage shown when for something you took a strong stand

A point of view coming from a pessimistic frame of mind

Looks for dark skies so it is dark skies it will find

But if you start your task reciting, “I think I can”

And study and develop and build on your plan

When the time comes that your days come to an end here on Earth

Your life will have proved to be more than just living

But more living a life of caring and unselfish giving

This will give a deeper meaning to this existence

A life built on positive and constructive thoughts lays way to constructive events

Live it to its fullest!
