I felt something growing in my heart

An intense feeling and exciting right from the start

I realized I could not hold this inside

And it was much to intense for me to hide

For love is not for one person to have and to hold

It is an emotion upon which you have no control

If you conceal it your heart can erupt and thus bring you sorrow

With nobody to share it with and no hope for tomorrow

How amazing it was when I discovered the secret

A way to enjoy love in its fullest and have no regret

Love like a seed will grow , expand  and recreate 

So by giving it away you make it flourish to overcome all indignation and hate

I have found when I give love to others it is restored in your heart

And grows and replenishes so do not fear to impart

But treat it with care and nurture it so it grows

It is durable and beautiful just like a red rose
