It’s a ‘walk-a-bout’ Crocodile Dundee would say

It’s a walk around the block.  It’s the way I start my day

The morning breeze was just a whisper through the trees today

Not even enough to make the leaves sway

There was not one cloud in the sky so blue

And the moon had not set in the west and I could see it shining through

I relished in the feel of the morning sun and its warm and gentle glow

And enjoy the company of my Lord who is with me where where’re I go

We carry on a conversation in thought and contemplate the morning’s splendor

The trees, the breeze, the daytime moon and all the morning has to render

It is all a gift for you and me, all gifts from our creator

Thank you, God for giving us a world so full of grandeur

And thank you for giving me Jesus Christ, my best friend and my savior

I thank you for legs to stroll and thank you for my morning walk

And I praise you for my friend, Jesus Christ with whom love to talk
