His followers who were loyal passionately followed his lead
For the knew he had devoted himself to fulfill this deed
It may have been easy for him to point the way
But he had committed his being to save the day
Because he led, they had no reservations
His leadership squelched their hesitations
The battle was won and all were the victors that day
