It’s an old saying. We’ve all heard someone say
“Hung out and twisting in the wind”
There are times when I’m sure we all feel that way
Like we’re hung out and twisting in the wind
It’s during frustrating times like these that we may kneel down to pray
“Oh Dear Lord, when will these awful heartaches come to an end?”
These are the times we need to remember the trials our savior did endure
People mocked and persecuted the one that God did send
These torments he did sustain that we might all feel reassured
That his love and his forgiveness would prevail until the end
So when life seems unfair, cruel, sorrowful and disappointing
Remember that Jesus came enduring all this for the forgiveness of our sins
So when we face those days that seem to be sad or disconcerting
Draw from the faith our Heavenly Father freely sends
