There are those who think me downright foolish
But I have considered the two and decided that happiness is better than living in anguish
When given the choice between living a miserable life that is bleak and sad
And one where every day is another wonderful adventure to be had
I knew I preferred the happiness that a life full of love can impart
So I searched for the source of happiness but knew not where to start
I took the time to say a prayer to my Heavenly Father and enquired
“Lord how can I enjoy true happiness and the fulfilling life I desire?”
His answer did not come in the form of words but with guidance as I went my way
For I was lead to know that happiness grows if you look for it day by day
I learned to reach out and support my friends with the love my Lord shared with me
For happiness is to be nourished and reflects in everything we feel, do and see
I learned to study all the wonders of nature and the beauty that is all around
This was where I realized that the source of true happiness for which I desired awaits and can readily be found
