It’s raining today but I don’t care the rain is soothing and oh so relaxing.
There is a slight breeze out there. It simply adds to the sway of the trees.
By the way, the trees, all but the holly have just about lost their leaves.
There are a few brown and wrinkled leaves holding fast but they won’t last.
I don’t mind this either because I see more of the sky be it blue or gray.
It’s November, Thanksgiving Day and we expect the cooler temperatures.
We tend to think of winter as a time when everything is dead but in reality it is a time when everything out there is resting.
There is something relaxing about this time of year and yet at the same time exciting.
Christmas will soon be here. Before we know it everyone will be singing, ‘Frosty the Snowman’ or ‘Susie Snowflake’, ‘White Christmas’ or “Chestnuts roasting on an open fire.”
The sky seems more white than gray today and that makes me wonder if we won’t soon see the whole world around us turning white.
When I awoke this morning I once again prayed,
“Thank-you Lord.” I got up, got dressed and went out to play.
Let us all live, love and enjoy this gift from our Heavenly Father
Celebrate today and when tomorrow comes, celebrate the day
